Scholastic's Club Leo

One of my readers, Tricia, sent me an email about Scholastic's Club Leo which is a great resource for Spanish, English, and bilingual books from the U.S., Latin America, and Spain.

By now your child's teacher has probably already sent home Scholastic book order forms or will very soon. My kindergartner came home with one on Friday. I'm going to ask his teacher if we can also order from Club Leo. The prices are unbeatable and parents do not have to pay for shipping and handling. Also, the teachers will benefit by getting points towards books and materials for their classrooms. It's certainly a win-win situation.

Thanks for the tip, Tricia!

I get so jealous of the easily attainable Spanish resources! French is still a little harder to come by. Still, this is great to keep in mind as my Spanish starts to improve and I can actually read some things to my kids. Scholastic's the best for affordable, age-appropriate selections.

Karen,

I downloaded the flier and it made me drool. My boys are starting preschool this week (eek!) and we already got the Scholastic forms (which I remember so fondly from my childhood, but had forgotten all about). I never would have known about this--many thanks to you and Tricia! I'm going to find out if I can order from this form.
