Spanish children television shows and more

Vaya... just a quick post to share with you a very nice link. It's TVE a la carta - programas infantiles, but you can watch other types of online videos también such as sports, dramas, documentaries y más. Oh, and we're talking about entire episodes, not clips.

Just what I've been looking for. It helps to have simple Spanish speaking programmes to aid learning. Better than relying solely on books and CDs, especially if you've no one else to practice with!

I can't believe no-one's mentioned LIttle Pim (www.littlepim.com)

Their Spanish videos have really helped my little boy learn Spanish, they're designed for English-speaking kids to learn Spanish and he seems to be picking up a lot of words.

I am using Reading Amigo and couldn't be happier with the results. My toddler regularly speaks Spanish to me (even though I'm not a Spanish speaker). The other day when someone couldn't understand her she even translated her words into Spanish, guessing that the person didn't speak English. Now she enjoys Spanish TV programs so I'm looking for programs like these to help supplement her learning. http://www.readingamigo.com

Thank you for this link. I attempted to watch a video but it says these can only be viewed from Spain. I'm able to watch everything except the "Clan" videos. Were you able to access them? If so, how? Thank you!

Help Please....

My wife and I do not speak or read Spanish. Our goal is to raise our twin boys bi-lingual (if we can). OUr nanny has been speaking to them in nothing but Spanish since they were 6 months old. Plus, their Grandmother only speaks to them in Spanish. So they understand Spanish already. but being 2 and half years old they are not speaking it yet. Our plan is to put them in a Spanish school when they are old enough. We've been given tips by Spanish teachers to keep Spanish fresh until school starts.

I just ordered the Spanish package on Direct TV.

My question is what shows, programs, etc are available and appropriate for kids 2.6 years old.

Is their an equivelent of Sesame Street, Super Why, Caillou, etc... only in Spanish. If so, what channels and times?

Thanks for any help. You can email at gksmith007@gmail.com
