Duolingo

Just saw this on Twitter this morning. Basically with Duolingo you help translate the web while you simultaneously learn a language for free. It’s in private beta so you have to sign up for an invitation. Of course I signed up. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Thank you so much for this wonderful resource! I'm a K-5 Spanish teacher in Detroit and it's my first year working with this age group. Finding appropriate instructional materials has been the greatest challenge. I can't wait to dive into the Teacher's packet and pull all that I can to put these stories to work for my kids.

Thanks again!

This looks like a great resource. Working on spanish translation can really help increase your knowledge of the language and improve your vocabulary.
